Does anyone remember this drama series?

Back in the 80's (I think) there was a drama series on the TV about a crew of dustmen - I thought it was called "Binmen" but I can't be sure.

One of the actors in Survivors was in it, which has triggered the old memory.

Does anyone else recall it? Do you remember what it's title was? I loved it and would dearly like to see it again - am wondering if it's on DVD anywhere.....

Common As Muck was a series about bin men but think that was in the 90's
