He's going grey already!

Poor Louie!

Just finished brushing him and I'm going over this white hair thinking - Benjie hair stuck to him - only just realised when I almost plucked it out - it was one of his own - the ESS is finally coming through. He has white underneath the brown on his tail and a couple near his winky (I don't like technical terms) but this one is randomly in the middle of his side - it's weird

She seems weird now when I look at the younger photos and it's black.

Her face has gone grey.

This should be a dog going grey thread now

Louie's not even 9 months yet and Sadie is 10 at the end of this year.

There was a thread about GSDs going grey early...but that was around their black muzzles, it was put down to colour genetics. Not sure ref dogs in general.

Nah with Louie I expected a bit of white hair somewhere - he has ESS in him - his tail is white underneath the brown - which is going into a liver colour more than chocolate. I just didn't expect a random white hair in the middle of all the chocolate

And Sadie has been going grey around her muzzle since she was 6-7ish. But I know some BC's do go grey early - and she does have part of one in her.

Jake is going grey well, not real grey but he started to gradually get white hairs over his black beside his nose… so, it looks like he is going grey… just hope he doesn’t get more!
