My dear Bud

Bud was a three-legged rescued mix breed, to me he was a pure Dane. He was ten years years old when I addopted him from an animal shelter in Arizona. I had five wonderful, adventure filled years with this clyesdale sized dog. His full name was Budweiser because of that. Bud was mostly a one person kind of dog but he never acted aggresivly towards others. He would just go ignore them. A few months before his passing I got a GSD puppy I named Ceasar from a rescue. He helped to keep Bud happy and active until my gentle giant passed away in his sleep at a ripe old age. I miss him so much. RIP Bud.

What a great age for such a big dog. So sad they have to leave us, but wonderful that his last months were happy and that his passing was so gentle.

On the other side of Rainbow Bridge I'm sure that Bud is happy and whole again. Running on all four legs as he once did, waiting to see me once again...
