oil of primerose helps as well my aunt is taking them as she does not want hrt, thinking of you hun. will ask her what else she is taking as its all herbal and she has been taking them for 4yrs after a full historectome. hope you feel better soon hun.

I had a complete hysterectomy at 30, 24 years ago, I had HRT too, and for years was great. Then 2 years ago they took me off them and I suffered badly, day and night, they would come on from the feet up, and sometimes I felt like I was on fire.
Then about a year ago they have been rapidly decreasing, although I have had problems in the 'love act' department, which I have had to have something for......again another side of the change....but thats sorted out to now. Good luck hun and I know what your experiencing....wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy

i had to go on a mini menopause with some injections i had to have...

it was great that it was winter...not so great for the freezer as everything kept defrosting cos i'd stick my head in it!!!!

i remember vaguely something herbal that had the word "black" in it that was supposed to help...

black coshosh is what your looking for, you can only take it for 6 months at a time, as it does things to your liver

Yes I have heard Black Cohosh can help and also Agnus Castus which balances the hormones, allegedly. I'm not there yet but you can try them all and let me know if they work or not!!

Vicki, soy and soy products can help with some of the symptoms of the menopause
