Good evening all

Unfortunately, my sister is just the same, but the doodah has hit the fan at this end too as the CT scan I had showed up emphysema and, with the appointments they've thrown at me for bloods, respiratory, spirometry as well as eye appointments, finding time to go over is going to be tight.

I was going to go today but she is refusing all visitors (and even phone calls) except her son.

It's just a never ending nightmare at the moment.

The good news though is that they have started changing her meds today as they think some of what is going on is a reaction. Time will tell and I would expect to see some improvement tomorrow if it is that

Evening Chris it doesn't seem to matter what field lately there is no apology or taking responsibility for wrong doing or diagnosis.

I have everything crossed the new medication helps your sister with a quick recovery.

Oh no Chris however if your sister is saying no visitors how about a letter or 20? Contact is contact. Sometimes though n hospital you do feel "not well enough for visitors. Hope the change in medication shows an improvement, Not well up on emphysema can they control it/prevent it from progressing improve your situation? I am sorry to hear this news though I was hoping it would be a no change CT scan.

As my Mom used to say an apology costs nothing but the result is priceless.

I'm already on meds for chronic asthma/COPD so not sure what will happen or change. My breathing has been getting worse so I'm guessing just a change of meds. It is a progressive disease, but I've decided that the progression will take place over 30 years slowly. At 100, I'll then give in
