Electrolytes....

.... where do you get your's ???

Would like to get some mostly for Bertie as he's suffers with the heat and likes to drink A LOT when the weather is hot. When we go to gundog tests etc I think he could really do with having some.

You could make your own basic rehydration solution?

Not sure if this suits dogs as well as children but if people use ready-made human rehydration solutions for dogs I don't imagine there's much difference.

You can get the powder to mix with water from most of the online pet pharmacies. In an emergency you can mix glucose, boiled water & a pinch of table salt-dogs are not very salt tolerant so less salt should be used than for a human

As we don't tend to use it often, I buy the sachets of Hydrolyte. If you use it more frequently it also comes in larger tubs:
