As soon as I saw them I guessed correctly at one of them, the other one I am sure is of the lines of a particular breeder but not bred by them. One of Lona's puppies from last year went to a lady who has a litter brother of the male Utonagan, as soon as I saw his piccie I thought he looked like him, and I was right.
He is going to be able to keep the dogs at home until I can find someone to take them. He has spoken to his neighbour and told her the vets are helping him rehome them and she is apparently happy with that.
Just got to find them a new family now.........

Yes but you've given us hope also given the owner the confidence to approach the neighbours and he isn't gonna have to pts them

Just getting myself something to eat and I'm going to give the owner of my puppy a ring, the one who has his brother, I doubt she can take them herself (got a GSD and 2 Utes) but she may well know someone, especially as it is her boys brother involved.

Sorry I am no help but have to say TW you have been a star through this. The utonagan community appear to be very tight and helpful. As well as accomodating. Hope it all turns out well.

Sorry, can't suggest any suitable homes but I hope to God that you can help to find a home for two dogs who have done nothing wrong other than try to communicate (bark) with stupid teenage humans.

Good advice from an experienced breeder in post 4 above.
Hi There are quite a few rescues out there that specialise like the GSD Rescue,Have they been neutered, because you dont want the bitch to get in the wrong handsand be used for breeding. But TW knows her stuff, and she will move heaven and earth, to make sure with her connections that those dogs will be Safe. You never know the breeder of the Male may take them both.Heres Hoping,Keep in touch crystalgirl

The female has been neutered, but in any case these dogs are aged 8 and 9 years so she would be far too old to breed from.
The male is related to a dog owned by one of my puppy owners, but is not a litter sibling as I first thought, as the birth dates are different. His owner is getting in touch with people she knows who may be able to help. She wants to take them herself but can't.
I'll put them up on our breed forum on the public part as well.
