Not really, I am chuffed as they are rescue dogs.....so having all of them win a rosette, has just about made our day here.................been brilliant But our girl winning BIS was the icing on the cake xxx

it just goes to prove that going to shows is a fab way to socialise your dog

Your so right, my thoughts exactly, even though he used to play up on the lead, we have taken him to loads of places where alot of dogs were around, I wanted to make him feel ''less trapped'' whilst being on the lead, luckily it has worked.

I started off by keeping him with me, whilst Pat walked the girls ahead, gradually taking him further and further into the areas, watching when he got to ''uncomfortable zone'', then fetching him out, the next time going further etc etc not really pushing him, just taking him as far as he felt safe with.

As time has gone on his comfort zone has increased 10 fold.

Funny thing, without a lead, he'd just walk through without any hesitation.
