I hope whatever it is, that he gets well soon. I had earache a lot as a child and I still remember it. It isn't very nice, Sweep sounds a real sweety and I do hope he's better soon.
P.S. He is Gorgeous!!!

Hi Sweep, saw this post the other day, didn`t have time to reply & it took me an age to find it again.

I`ve used a very good ear cleaner in the past called *Blue Power Ear Treatment* even on the dirtiest ears it works. It`s also really good for hot spots etc. You make it up yourself & is easy to do.
Not sure if you can get the Isopropyl Alchohol over there but worth a try?? I get it from the chemist here.
Here`s the link below, its too long to post it all on here

Its from the web site link below

Noticed he also has cheesy feet, usually those probs are associated with allergies.
Hope he`s sorted soon
Christine
ps Have never heard of garlic oil being used direct into ears. Do know that you can squeeze Vit E oil capsules direct into them tho, one into each ear

Hi Sweep sorry to hear about sweep poor old chap I hope he gets his ears sorted soon it must be very irritating for him.

Shadowboxer wrote an article on old dog..it may be of help to you...

..and also posted this about searching for canine senility under its proper name.
Do a google search for "canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome" OR "cognitive dysfunction syndrome'+dogs.
