Odd wannabe puppy owners

Some people are strange....

Max's breeder has had someone come to see the 2 remaining puppies tonight, who was referred by one of Max's littermates owners.

She brought her two young boys, and they thought the puppies were lovely, and apparantly she almost had her cheque book out then and there.

Anna let Norman (7 yr old Boxer) and Millie (18 mth old Boxer) in the house and the two boys were terrified of them, and so was the mum!! (They are both bigger than the puppies mum Lottie, but not by that much)

She hadn't realised they got "so big" and her boys, when asked didn't want a big dog, they wanted a puppy

Anna was very nice to them (not sure if I would have been) and advised her to go and think about whether she actually did want a "big dog"....

Cue the woman saying that she wasn't into dogs, but her husband wanted one (but he works away) and she thought the boys might like a puppy about the house....

Honestly, some people!

that's why so many dogs end up being rehomed!

yep iv had ppl like them come to see me about puppies,id say the same why come to see a boxer,go see a yorkie,but then no dog stays a puppy for ever and although boxers act the big puppy thats just it there a BIG puppy,the silly woman.

They've also had several calls asking if the puppies are docked, and when they say "No, its against the law" they caller hangs up....

No.. on second thoughts, having had litters myself - totally believable

I bet there have been many phone calls like that, it'll sink in eventually!

i get call like that and when i say there docked,they say oh but isnt it illegal and then you got to go into it,only for them to go i wanted one with a tail,and i go well,you can always go to england xx
