One thing that has really surprised me is just how many on there have said that when they were pregnant they had to consider what to do with their existing dogs !!!!

There was never any consideration needed here ... the dogs stayed!

That REALLY REALLY peeves me!! A thought like that never even entered my head.. we got Seiko in October 1999 and I had CJ a year later so he was still very puppy..I never did any of the things that is advised (you know all the dolls and prams and bringing a blanket home etc)

When we came home I was really tired..went into labour at 1pm..got to hospital for 1.45 had her at 4.49pm and was home by half 7..so I slept in my bed..and Alex slept on the settee with the moses basket next to him..
She woke up at 6am and Alex never heard her..Seiko *who was behind a shut door..(he always slept in our room or the hall)jumped up opened the door and licked Alex face to tell him she was awake..he sat with his chin on the basket looking in at her..

Ignore them, Dani. I've read the forum , some people love the sound of their own voices but at least you have some support from reasonable people.

You're just jealous she hasn't invited you to play

Well seriously..she thinks she can just say that to "one of us" and we will let it lie?

Don't think so..
