Dear Animals Lovers

This has been such a very busy week for us we can't believe that already we find ourselves at the end of September. So many sad cases this month that were in need of our help and we never turn any animal away.

This month we have managed to build a new kennel here at the shelter. We are so much in need of this to house our ever increasing "family"

As well as all the busy work within the shelter we have also managed to feed many of the dogs and cats on the streets without us they have no one. Also we have been able to carry out the sterilization of many others.

A very big thank you to everyone who has remembered us this month without your donations it would be impossible for us to continue with our work for the homeless animals of Romania.

On the brink of death

This was the fate of ANA saved from the street, in a neighborhood of Arad. Thrown away by those people to whom she was faithful her whole life. It was not her fault, that instead of being sterilized to not make any more puppies, she had lots of puppies. On the contrary, they were the ones to blame for lots of puppies. After that they put her out in the street with her babies, who had just opened their eyes. Angry people who discovered that overnight there in their own park in front of the block was an abandoned mum with her puppies, decided her fate without mercy. To kill her and let her puppies die of hunger or to throw them in the trash...so how could we stay passive to the desperate call made by a child who was crying and desperately begging us not to leave ANA to die!!! We are desperate, full of dogs everywhere and we need donors who support our expensive and hard activity. We need people that understand that we cannot funtion without financial support permanently. We have lots of moms who wait to be sterilized and do not need ANA's fate or Speranta's fate.
Also, now all the puppies must be externally and internally de-wormed, vaccinated and then publicized for adoption. Till then, it is hard work and food is special and expensive to come by.
