Spooky, I made one of these Saturday - looks like the same recipe. I popped a few squares of chocolate into the middle so it had a gooey centre - and if you microwave it for a little less than 3 minutes, it keeps a gooey pudding-y texture rather than a sponge cake texture. Ending up tipping it into a bowl and eating with icecream, OH was very impressed that I'd only been in the kitchen 5 minutes and whipped it up!

Btw, the recipe I had specified to use plain flour but the comments all recommended self-raising, so just incase people are wondering what kind of flour to use, I'd definately say SR. The comments on this one mention the same rubbery-ness that people were commenting on when using plain flour so definatley worth switching.

Isochick gave me this receipe ages ago!
We love it as it's so quick and easy.
It just said 'flour' so I assumed it was self raising anyway lol
I don't put in the choc chips of vanilla though.

Me and OH love it! OH has it with some ice cream
We've never found it rubbery. I always cook it for less time than it states too, and it's nice and moist that way
