Thanks Eileen, it was a shock, I was sort of prepared for a gradual decline in her mobility, especially the back legs but this was
so sudden.

Sue, thank you so much. You realise that's the
second time you've been able to help reassure me (Remember you posted about how certain dogs hate being in kennels and loose weight, Cassy is one such dog I'm certain)

Thanks, did you know she was born in Czech Republic and both her Mum and Dad lived to be over twelve years so we hope she has a few more years yet.

You've all been very kind, I had noticed that she was sometimes a bit stiff on her back legs and as part of her examination the vet confirmed she has mild arthritus but this vestibular thing
came on so quickly.
Two days ago I had never heard of vestibular disease.
We are really hoping I can close this thread tomorrow with news that she is back home.
