My Little One ate nothing but kibble from the day I adopted her as a tiny puppy, and she crunched away on un-soaked kibble until she died. The crunching did nothing for her teeth as even though I brushed them every day she still ended up losing 14 - the top front four fell out and the other ten had to be removed under a GA as they were so bad. And oh did her breath stink.

She was probably born pre-disposed to bad teeth due to the bad diet of her dog mother, so I do not blame myself.

But - I changed Pereg from kibble onto raw a couple of years ago and the crunching of bones has given her the strongest and whitest teeth ever. And she has the sweetest breath ever.

larger kibble takes longer to eat - meaning no indigestion, bloating, gas etc.
More crunching reduced plaque
