thought i would update you.

gran is still with us and in some ways improving. still not able to swallow but desperate for food and a cup of tea. her speech is much improved and sometimes she is very confused about what is going on.

she tried to get me to take her home last night . she asked me if i had the car with me and when i said yes she said she would give me £5 to take her home.

there is still a long wa to go but thank God things are not as bad as at the weekend. still jump every time the phone goes because there is no guarentee of her not having another stroke.

thanks everyone for the kind messages it does help to have loads of people out there

thanks becky - we are just taking things day at a time at the moment and i will keep updating the thread. i wont be going to see her till early evening cos mum and dad go in the afternoons.
