Wish us luck.

Next week we are having alot of work carried out on the house, this includes a full re-wire, new boiler and central heating upgrade, new pipes outside and new kitchen from the floor up. All of this will take round about four weeks so I am not looking forward to it in the slightest.

All the stuff from the kitchen has been moved into the living room and most living room stuff moved into bedrooms and all sorts of other stuff into the neighbours and charity shops.

It's going to be very cold What a time of year for them to do this kind of work, no boiler????!!!! I'd move out if I were you, can't you shack up with someone and stay warm???

LOL.....We have been living it all since October. We are having extensions front back and side. We are about to pack up the ktchen, dining room, study, bathroom, utility room and bedroom ready for them to knock through. My front room looks like a charity shop at the moment but it is very cosy.....

Good luck Phill.........you kind of get used to it.

Cheers all, have been keeping the heating off more this week to get used to it and its not been to bad. They have said the boiler is a priority and will try and get that done asap.

Hope it all goes well mate.

My sister is going through all this just now (see Fudgeley's reply above) and I don't envy you.

We have some big plans for our house and all I can think of is what on earth would we would do with the dogs.
