Blimey Lucky Star, you mean to say you've had time to write a novel AND be a member of DW! Lol! What is your secret then? I don't even have time to clean the house, let alone write a novel with DW around.

Anyway, there is still one more reply to come isn't there, so we will all keep our fingers crossed that this may be the accepted one.Good luck and keep going, if at first you don't succeed and all that

Oh thanks everyone - what would I do without you, you've cheered me up. As has the afternoon glass of wine I am comforting myself with. There goes the gym idea ...

I've always said I don't want to look back on my life with regrets and I am already on my second novel so :smt019 to them.

Helena - my secret is ... I don't do housework, I live in a pit

Come on Lucky Star, don't give up. Ask any overnight success and that 'overnight' was probably years. Your doing something you love and that's worth alot in my book.

At least you have a valid excuse for the pit - you're an artist

Don't get disheartened Lucky Star. I'm sure many a good novelist has had lots of rejections before thier work has been published.

Good luck, I'm looking forward to reading your work one day
