The bind moggles

Guitar a bit, somewhat out of practise, and my fingertips have gone soft again I fingerpick a 12-string moderately well, but can't read music, and I sing like coke being crushed under an out-house door (You will find that an angle-grinder is more tuneful, especially when applied to a block of granite).

If you are familiar with the Scottish folk-music scene, I've played in pub sessions with a few "weel-kent" faces - Aly Bain, Brian MacNeill (ex-Battlefield Band), Derek Moffat (McCalmans) and a few others.

I tried clarinet when I was a kid, but found my inability to read music a bit of a dsisadvantage. Nice instrument, though.

You should hear my vet, though - excellent piper, fiddler and singer. He makes CDs, with his band, "Three Peace Sweet"

If anyone would like to sample my vet's efforts, please supply an e-mail address (by PM, if you will) and I'll send an MP3. Please note that your e-mail address must be able to handle an attachment of up to 5MB.

If you like what you hear, I can obtain the CDs with ease from local shops.
