Olly asked me to marry him 7 years ago. I was 3 months pregnant...we had only been together 4 months....they all said it wouldn't last
Anyhoo...we were due to get married last year and we wanted a small wedding...his mother had other ideas and kept pushing for a big service so she could invite all HER friends

I really stressed about it and called it off 2 months before we were to get married

Still in January this year iwent out and booked another wedding day in a liitle place we had originally wanted (only held 30 people ) and compromised with his mum that we would have a big reception so all could be invited
My reception was to be held where i worked...they knew about it for 8 months and, 4 days before my wedding said that they wouldn't do it the way we had discussed...to cut a long storey short, they had offered to close the pub for the day and retracted what they said 4 days before the day saying it would be open, and all members of the public would be allowed in (eating my food ..drinking my drink ) I went a bit mad and told them to stuff the job...my mum and I went out and found a lovely hotel, but they couldn't do the food so we had to do it ourselves for 200 people!!!!

I finally finished cooking 2 hours before my wedding

The 4th of September this year was (after alll that went wrong) was perfect
The sky was blue..it was warm....My bridesmaids behaved, and my handsome groom was gorgeous :smt007 :smt007
Everything was just right and i'll whenever i think about it i get a warm glow inside ops:
And so now I'm a Mrs

Pat proposed to me just before our 10th anniversay of being together, during which time we had moved into our 2nd house together and had our first child, Jack and I had just found out a few days before that I was pregnant again. It was New Years Eve and Pat said, 'It's about time we got married isn't it or it'll be confusing for the kids with you having a different surname' bless him, he did mean it to be romantic , so I became a Mrs on 5th September 2002 and we got married in Gretna Green and I had a horse & Carriage and a Scottish Bag Piper and we had Pat's family fly over from Ireland and all my family and mates drove/flew up - it was a fantastic day !!
