I installed it on both my comps when it came out.
What horror stories have you heard about it!?

I've not had any problems at all since installing it...

What PC problems are you having? If your just the casual internet user i dont think you would need SP2.

Norton Anti-Virus? Could be your subscription has run out, or your firewall is blocking you from running the live update thing for new virus definitions. I stopped using norton recently because my subcription ran out and i dont want to pay lol, i got it free from my isp when i first signed up a year ago.

Theres always an uninstall option with Norton, look in your errr dont know what its called haha im thick. Assuming you got windows XP

Start > All programs > Norton folder, and there should be an uninstall option in there.

I've installed Norton Security 2005 and have installed SP2, no problems here, so maybe your subscription has ran out.

I installed it and got problems with my word docs so had to do a fresh install of my operating system install SP 2 then all the applications, games since then i have not had any trouble with it

Your subscription won't run out if you got a reg hack that will give updates untill 2116
