Sad News - Meg

Hello all,
It’s with a broken heart that I am posting, we made the heartbreaking decision to let Meg go to Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday night.
She had been struggling for a few weeks and kept falling over.
Wednesday night she couldn’t get up and when she did get up she went straight back down, she gave me a look, a tired look, and I just knew it was time to let her go.

Our vet was fantastic, allowed us as much time as we needed, she passed peacefully in my arms, wrapped in her blanket. Lizzie was with me and she’s absolutely devastated, she grew up with Meg.

Missing her so much, my heart feels like it’s shattered into a million pieces.

So sorry. Saying goodbye really is a dreadful wrench, but it is the last loving gift that we can give them. xx

It's so painful for us, but such a blessing for them.

Run free, Meg. Have fun at the bridge and shine down brightly while you wait.

The biggest of hugs to you and Lizzie xx

It’s so painful, I miss her so much, the house is very quiet without her, even though we have 4 cats, it’s just not the same.

I’m having her ashes back and getting a keepsake box, personalised, with her name, date she was born, and her photo and putting all her bits and bobs in there with her, I still have her first food bowl I brought her, and the little madam used to tip it over and eat off the floor!
