This the one thats gone bust?

We were due to fly!
We got offered different flights, but the flights we got offered were crap, and would mean we miss 2 days of our holiday!
We've cancelled the whole holiday and re-booked, costing us £50 extra.

Also had to re-book the kennels, and having to re-book the car parking for a different airport!

Who did you book with? I booked with Sunsave .. who arranged the XL flight in the package

When you due to fly as well?
We were booked in for next Friday...

We've rung the holiday company this morning but they dont know much and fobbed us off by saying they'll ring us back if we leave a contact number.

You think they'll offer different flights? or will all of our holiday be cancelled?

Its a bloody nightmare! Been up since 2.30am when we heard the news, not slept yet

We booked with Thomas cook!
Flying out on 26th Sept.

They were very good, they sent us an email this morning with new flight times, and a number to phone if we weren't happy (which we weren't, due to missing 2 days of holiday!)

Mum Phoned and asked for better flights (which we had seen online), but they said as we weren't due to fly for 2 weeks, the people flying next week have priority - we could wait and chance it, take the flights offeed or cancel.

So we cancelled, went online, and booked another holiday (to same place, same days, just diff flights). Still going with Thomas Cook, but flying on their own planes this time!
Still not great flights, but better than what they offered I suppose!

Oh do you reckon the holiday company will be offering different flights?

No one has told us anything,we're both slightly p*ssed off, sposed to be going shopping in Manchester today for clothes, now we're stuck at home half asleep, having been up all night, waiting for this holiday company to ring.

you get your money back though for cancelling?

I would think thy should offer you diff flights - we got offered that!
I would phone them and refuse to get off the phone until it's sorted!
We got the email this morning, couldn't phone till 9am (when they opened), but it was cancelled, and ha re-booked another hol by 10am!

Yep, we've got a 100% refund on th holiday!
Obviously insurance & parking is seperate - just waiting to hear back about the parking!

As I said, I would phone again and demand answers. Refuse to get off the phone until they sort it out!
Surely they know whats going on!
The company we booked with did, and we fly in 2 weeks!
