2 legged dog

was just reading a thread on another dog board (sorry but was not much going on) and a big debate is raging about a dog which was in the daily mail yesterday. It was a dog born with only its back legs and it walks round upright. I must say that when i saw it in the paper i just thought aw how lovely that somebody adopted her and she is loved and surely if she was in pain she wouldnt do it? But some of the posters on the other board have said it should of been pts at birth? what do you guys think?

Hi Katy, just watched the video, she seems a happy dog I have mixed feelings at the moment, but if she is happy and not in pain why not give her a chance in life.

if she was born in to one of my dogs litter, i am sorry to say that i would of had her PTS. i think there are more than enough dogs in rescue that need saving. if it was a dog that had lost both frount legs then yes help as much as you can,

i dont think a lot of ppl would agree with me but bring up a litter is hard work without there being more work added,

but saying that i can not open the clip so i dont know what she is like,

Maybe i am too soft, but it looks like she has the magnificent will to live, i think she deserves every chance that her owners have given her, she looks happy and healthy, it also looks like her owners love her a lot, mother nature works in weird ways where theres a will theres a way, and it looks like she has plenty of will - bless her, i think she deserves a chance, shes pulled through, shes alive & happy why spoil it for her? Everything happens for a reason & shes here for a reason whatever that may be & against all the odds.

wow, that is so strange!
But the dog seems really happy. I dont think it'd be right to have it pts unless it was in a shelter struggling to find a home. But he has lovely owners, so i dont think he'd ever end up on the street.
Its a wonderful thing these people are doing
