Got back in the saddle.....

the first time in over a year
I think i'm having a middle age crisis because i've decided to get back in the saddle properly.
I teach every weekend so its not as if i haven't got anything to ride, in fact i've got a choice of 22 horses and ponies to ride 'free' when ever i want. I just couldn't be bothered
I think i over did horses when i taught full time. Had a 5 year break, now at 35 i've decided to get back in tune with the nags.
This is my first jump in 5 years. Do you think i enjoyed myself

Ouch my body is SO sore today!!!!

Lovely photo, keep it up, if nothing else it'll keep you fit.

Jealous, jealous, jealous!

You don't look like you've had a break from riding at all, great pic!
You'd better make sure you have a nice hot bath with some radox later, your thighs are gonna feel it tomorrow, I know I did the last time I got to ride.

5 years?????? You're not going to be able to walk tomorrow - trust me!!!! Even when I had a break for a month due to horse injury or something, I could hardly walk the next day!! Glad you enjoyed it, and keep it up, there really is no better exercise, especially for the tum and arms - no batwings for you in later life if you keep it up! Unlike me who gave up 5 years ago when I lost my horse.
