OH has suggested i just shut all the doors up stairs!!!!! well very clever........OH........but where will my puss-tats sleep???? they love to lay on our bed in the sun shine. So the mission goes on. i might try some MDF.

Is the gate top or bottom of the stairs? If it's the bottom can you put it at the top?

Very clever these cockers, my Lily's pups are 3 weeks old tomorrow and have learnt to drag their soft teddies to the front of the whelping box and clamber out over them, I couldn't figure out how they were doing it, so I set the webcam up and watched them from the other room on the laptop.....lol. The offending teddies have now been removed at night for the pups own safety....lol.
