Anyone got any reviews on this film?

yep went last night and thought it was rubbish.

gladiator set the presidence with these sort of films and none of them so far have lived up to it.

i thought it was over the top and very gung-ho!

very disapointed!

Oh what a shame Hectorsmum. My Dad's Greek and my sister did classics at uni so they've been really looking forward to it.

i love the greek myths and history, dont get me wrong, but this film like all the others that hollywood do was factually wrong with bits added just to add substance.

just wish it was kept to fact. then it would have been good.

Dave & I had planned to go this week as we've both got the week off. I went with an open mind after reading your post but I was not impressed by it. I think I was put off almost straight away when in the opening seqence '300' appeared on the screen as if it was written in blood - it wouldn't have looked out of place in some cheap slasher movie!

I'm glad we went in the day so it was cheaper than going in the evening. I think I may have been in a bit of a bad mood though as they had no salted popcorn and it was freezing cold in there!!
