Did this today

Beeen down thne dump and then garden centre, later on went for a meal. all that and cut down a flowering cherry tree which did nothing and got the roots out.
At the garden centre met this guy with a small lutus sports car.

Not been here before and very nice

This was in the garden centre car park and had a long chat to the owner

My son has a similar car. I can only imagine that the drivers side has a bit more leg room however. He is 6'4 and I am 5'4, he took me for a spin and my knees were almost to my chest. But great looking anyways!!!

Not only was in front of the kitchen window blocking light but it never did anything, not even a flower. The previous owners that lived here appear not to be interested in the garden anyway. We have two pear trees coming out next year as they don't have any fruit on them, no cross pollination we suspect.
It was that bad here as I previously posted some time ago the grass was not it was all moss and we have to be very sever raking the moss out (13 large industry plastic bags worth at least)

today

It is about a 2 year project to get the garden somewhat in a better condition. The first year was the greenhouse which I covered extensively on here before. Now it is the turn of the flower beds and fruit trees

The garden looks beautiful now.

Light is the problem with trees. I have a small garden and I have a cobnut tree in the back garden and a small tree that just grew in the front. They do need to be pruned on a regular basis.

Are they sprout plants in your veggie patch? They look really good just need a frost now to make them tastier. Lawn looks good you just need to go raking the leaves now but don't do your back in. Do you remulch the leaves for compost?

Yes they are sprouts but main leafs badly eaten. I have a Gtec petrol blower to clear the lawn.

Not over expensive and relatively light as well , main thing it does the job well. rubbish goes to the local council tip don't want small oak trees growing anywhere from the fallen acorns
