Swindon toddler mauled by dog in garden

A two-year-old boy is in hospital with serious facial injuries after an attack by a dog in Swindon.

It is thought he has lost an eye, part of his ear and that surgeons were trying to rebuild part of his nose http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-18320701

poor kid, my heart goes out to him and family, ......... BUT
what was he doing in the neighbours garden???????
Was no one supervising this child, and he sneaked into the neighbours garden?????

Tragic for all concerned (inc the owners of the dog )

So sad

I read somewhere else, that he wandered off into the neighbours garden... if that is true, I just wondering how the parents let that happen...

Whatever the underlying causes which led up to this incident, which will no doubt come to light in due course, the fact remains that yet again, an entirely avoidable incident has occurred resulting in tragedy for more than one party.

Sadly some people lack in parental responsilbilty and then incidents like this occur, which could have been totally preventable.
