Virtual Dinner Party

I promised to host a Virtual Dinner Party in Chloe's PBM thread so...............


next Friday, come about 7 - 7.15 and we'll eat about 8.

On arrival
Caribou cocktail (we found this in Quebec in the summer) 1 part chilled vodka, 1 part dry sherry, twist of lemon peel.
Sounds odd - it's really nice
Olives and almonds


Starter
Warm griddled asparagus, with an olive oil & lemon garlic dressing (you can use your fingers if you like - I'll put out hot flannels)

Main course
Whole roasted wild salmon
Green lentils, cooked with shallots and herbs
Buttered spinach sprinkled with freshly grated nutmeg
(Fish haters and veggies let me know - you can have a ratatouille on your lentils with some goats cheese crumpled over)

After
Choice of lemon tart with raspberries or profiteroles with hot chocolate sauce

Cheeseboard with home made bread, Dorset Knobs and celery

Coffee, camomole tea or mint tea

oh will sort out the wine
We'll have plenty of mineral water available

Can you come?

(Carriages at midnight - can't cope with late nights now!)
