wish us luck

i don't think a lot of you know this so i will start from the begianing

my youngest was born with a clubbed foot.
he was in a cast from 2 weeks old until he was 6 months old (changed every week or so).
then he went in to orthopaedic boots that had a bar from foot to foot. and was in them until he was 8 months old. he even had to wear them to bed. when he started to try to stand the bar was taken off but he still had the boots. (the 1 that was clubbed was shaped to push the foot out and hurt him a lot to wear). the bar had to be put back on every night (he soon learned to pull his foot out). all was going well he was going to phisio (sp?) every week and i had to stretch his foot once in the morning and once before going to bed (he hated this) he started walking when he was 17 months but his foot started to go back. he would walk on the side of his foot so was pushing it back in to its old shape.

he then had a check up when he was about 18 months old and i was told that his born's were now fine and there was no more that, that doc could do for him he has to go and see a different 1 about 30 miles away.

i was every surprised to get an appointment with 5 weeks to see the new doc (just before xmas). Josh had x-rays taken and done a lot of walking for the doc. i was told that there is no longer a problem with his born's at all its now his ligament. so the poor chap now has to go back in to a plaster cast for about 8 to 10 weeks and then will need an op to move the ligament to the other side of his foot.

so we are off to the hospital at about 3pm and he is going to go mad, he hated the cast when he was a young baby but he is going to be 2 on the 22nd and i think he will just flip when he sees what there going to do to him
i am not looking forward to late today as i am going to be kicked a lot as he will only come to me when he is unhappy. after we leave the hospital we are going to take him to the beach for a run around to try to take him mind off it (it will be a walking cast thank god). so if im not on a lot later today that's why
