Just when you think you know your car....

.... you find a part that you never knew was there
My car was virtually stripped down today for its NCT (like an MOT) and delivered back nice and tidy. I went up to the kennels to collect the dogs, found the crate where I left it this morning and put it back together in the back of the car.
This involved collapsing the rear seats again but before I did, I noticed an extra seat belt attachment on the back seat - except it was a different design, much smaller than the normal bit you clip into. It looked like the casing had dropped off it but hey, the car had the pass cert so I wasn't going to fret over it.
Then, as I put the cage in - dangling from the ceiling in a fitting I had not seen before - was a corresponding clip! Rght back by the rear door (its a hatchback) just off centre. Deccy was mesmerised watching it swinging about all the way home. I have NO IDEA what that's all about.
I've had the car for four years.....
