Puppy farm laws?

Does anyone know the law concerning puppy farms? are they allowed to do what they do? Is there anything we can do to stop them?

Hi Zuba The Waterside Action Group website might answer your question I tried typing in a link to it but it would not work so if you search for waterside action group or wag-ayrshire I am sure you can find it.

I didnt think there were any laws prohibiting puppy farms provided their basic needs were met and are of sound health.I dont agree with anything being bred purely for profit and do think this loophole should be closed by the goverment.

Couldn't agree more, its unfair that the dogs be used purely for what they can produce and if they dont produce they are sold. My biggest problem with it is the fact they sell to anyone

There is a large puppy farm outlet in Manchester which is where Benji came from - sadly I didn't know anything about puppy farms then or what they were or I would never have stepped foot in the place
