3 months after i wrote this i thought i would have another look and update it.

Tonks is 7 and a half months and i think the only thing she is afraid of is kites, but she has only ever seen one, so i don't know if she will be less freaked the nest time she sees one.

She was also scared when we saw a flight simulator at a country fair, but like i said, she might be less scared the next time she sees one.

Luckily she is brave and seems to get used to knew things very quickly.

Fireworks - last year, one went off beside Sasha and she bolted home at 300mph (fast for a leo) - i took her back out on lead and a multi-coloured one went off right by her which had been fired off by kids!! This year it will be the DAP plugged in and leave her in till its quiet, lol.

Vehicles whooshing by. A speeding motorist went past us and soaked us both - didn't even stop. Loads of roadwork later and she will still jump or try to bolt especially if its wet.

This is a bit bizarre: when Frida was a puppy she was afraid of water in all forms and shapes. This has improved and she now happily plays in a river or the sea.

However, she is still afraid of water in a bowl other than the one standing in the house. For example if I try to give her water in her bowl in the car, she backs away.

I think this is quite bizarre and I sometimes worry that she is thirsty on long car journeys. However, she refuses to drink one drop.

Bess (Welsh Collie) - scared of the hoover, helicopters,
fireworks, thunder storms. Fortunately for her she's a little bit deaf now so she's not as bad!!
Jennie (Lurcher) - afraid of any loud noise and the wind!
Danny (Lurcher) - afraid of nothing!!!
Otis (Lab Collie X) - fireworks and thunder.

Welshie - motor bikes (he is a rescue so we have no idea why) and also strangers touching him but we are working very hard on both.

Wolfhound - randomly balloons! I think one burst very close to him when he was little and he is now very suspicious of them all!

Gizmo's scared of smoke and the smell of smoke - he won't even go in the back garden if the neighbours are burning rubbish on a bonfire.
This time of year, he doesn't care about the noise of fireworks, but on bonfire night itself he won't go outside alone even after the fireworks have all stopped, which I guess is because the air smells of smoke. He's also terrified of the smoke alarm and cowers in a corner if it goes off.
He's a rescue dog and we don't know much about his history so it's possible he's been in a fire at some point.
