I know tell me about it! What's worse is they've now got planning permission for new housing for their Dairy herd and to increase the herd to 800! They've barely got the land for the animals thay have now. Including that rented from the local land owner???
It's this sort of farmer that makes me furious, they really don't give a s**t about their livestock. And that includes their dogs.
I honestly thought they'd got rid of the older dog when they got the new one cos I didn't see it for ages. I'm surprised they've bothered to keep it at all!
I have no doubt they wouldn't think twice about taking the dog out to be dealt with if you know what I mean.

Anyway on a brighter note I loved the link you posted, have you ever thought of trying it. I'd be quite interested in doing it but with one of their dogs as my two can't herd themselves into shade on a sunny day!

I've been thinking about it I think my dogs would love it but I think they need a bit better training first - it looks like so much fun though

Ooh just realised the link people are fairly near to me! Cool, if you ever decide to have a go there, let me know and I'll have a go too!
It would be great fun, I don't think I'd ever be able to train a dog to such a high standard though!

I know I wonder how they train the dogs to do it - you are so lucky to live close by - its a really good price as well - I think my dogs would get the mickey taken out of them by the real sheepdogs though

Of course they wouldn't, bet your dogs are great at that sort of thing! They've just chosen to keep it from you! My two keep a lot from me, like "how to disect a raw chicken in 30 seconds"!

Or "How to be dreaming in 10 seconds flat"! How do dogs do that? No animal can fall asleep that fast surely?!
