Any truth in this ??

Just had a guy in the shop, we were talking dogs as we always do...he has a relatively new rescue dog, he said we know its a cross cause of the white tail tip, I've never heard that before, anyone ??

Well Jobie has a white tail tip, and I can trace his pedigree back to the early 1800s

I think that would depend on the breed.

With my breed (Labs), I would not expect to see any white on the tail, unless it was a real mismark and I could prove the dog was 100% pedigree/purebred.

Woody has been 1/3rd docked, but he has a little more as they left the white tip on.

He's pure pedigree.
