Dog advertised 'free to good home' new puppy coming. How can people be so uncaring?

Wasn;t going to post this but having just seen on another site about other free ad dogs I will now.

This ad was in a free paper;

"Dog approx 11 free to good home room needed for puppy" Before you say anything yes I did phone and he/she was gone.

Not sure of the breed or anything all they said on the phone (a mobile) was "The black dogs gone" and put the phone down. Breaks your heart doesn't it. I can only hope the home the dog/bitch has found is better than the one he left.

Why people feel its ok to get rid of a dog at 11yrs for a puppy is beyond me

Just pure nasty is what they are

Since we have taken in Basil from his owners, they have never contacted us concerning how's he doing!

People just cast off pets and have no concience!

thats horrible some people should never have the right to own a dog in the 1st place.

if you want a pup then get 1 but you don't get rid of any you have.

In too many instances the only important things are those that are new; that gratify the ego; increase personal wealth, impress the neighbours. Sad, sad, sad.

Hope the old dog has found a home where he will be loved and cossetted for the rest of his days.
