aww thank you beanieman glad you like them the boys are 17mths old yes they are working collies well they are in training and doing really good

sorry to be nosey but, what do you use them for? are there colours rare as i have not seen ones with such lovely markings thanks for putting up with me lol

no ask away they work with sheep rounding them up and at the moment they are learning for sheep trials where they bring them round the fields split two up up from the flock and then lead them all into the pen,no this breed of collie is not rare there is so many colours in the merle from blue merle,slate,lavendar,red,tri but as for the boys these two are rare as they are merles with pink noses with spots as most merles have black noses with a few spots,also to produce a merle the one mate has to be a merle and the other black and white you cannot put two merles to mate as the outcome of the litter will be very sad

sounds very complicated the breeding that is, it would be great to see some piccies of them in the field doing there training plz

sure no probs when there out again this week will get some pics for you,the breeding is complicated not like your usually mating two black and whites can mate with no probs but if the merles are mated the outcome is not good as the gene of the male merle is very strong it can prouduce to much of the m gene which when pups are born they are either still born or eyes to close together,deaf hearing problems thats why you dont see many merles about
