Turkey eggs?

A local couple are selling these at the Tuesday market. Attractive speckled shells, bigger than a duck egg but not as big a a goose egg.. I am putting on a picnic for our American friends tomorrow so bought some and will hard boil them.. should be interesting and a little different.. Wondered if anyone here has eaten them?

Hate duck eggs , so oily but used to have geese and grand... Well these are now hard boiled and in a pretty bowl in the picnic crate. Just the chilled drinks go to in tomorrow then bread to buy on the way . will let you know,,, haven't forgotten re owls but the visit from the landlord has somewhat disrupted thought....

The turkey eggs were a great success... a little different and a novelty but quite like chicken eggs to eat. Grand SO!
