I Feel So Bad! :(

My poor little lovebird died

I've been keeping my pair of lovebirds in a large cage in one of my stables as they aren't tame and seemed happier out there. Anyway, this morning it was very quiet.. I went in and had a look and the female was sat on the perch as normal, but the beautiful little boy was dead

I feel so bad though cos he died in the most horrible way. Sometime in the night he had got his foot caught in one of the rope toys.. He'd obviously tried to chew through his leg to get himself out of it It was awful, poor little thing!!

I feel so bad.. The poor little thing must have been so stressed to try and chew through his leg!! I've always used rope toys with my birds and never had any problems. This one was in perfect condition as they didn't chew it at all, i really cant believe this has happened.. My poor little guy!
