Thanks everyone

All of the girls made it through the night! Even my little bald one They've only just tonight been brave enough to come out of the stable (where they go at night to sleep) and into the field, and they were a bit nervous, but they're doing well.

We had about 18 eggs this morning too!

Ooh, and our chickens aren't particularly noisy, sometimes they have a little shout at us in the morning if we dont go down to let them out early enough but the neighbours have never said they could hear them or anything

jessica we found one of our chickens dead this morning
looks like it had just layed down to sleep and died

also we have a poorly quail
not having good luck at the moment with our chickens and quails

It is terrible, the state that some of these poor chickens are allowed to get in, in their previous lives...

You are a wonderful person to be doing that Jessica, I feel so sorry for them looking at those pics and thinking what a terrible life they must have had, and the poor state of their feathers, poor little things. They will have a great life now with you I'm sure, so well done you!
