Meet Millie!

Yesterday we went to a local rescue center, and today my granddad has a new dog

He had been promised a German Shepherd bitch from a friend of my dads, but they changed their mind the day she was due to be picked up, so the search continued, and I think Millie is much more suited to him.

She is a 8 yr old lab x bitch and is lovely, so sweet and a lot more playful when she got home than we thought she would be.
I took some unused toys of mine for her (in pink) and she killed one of them in the back of the car on the way home, and loved the balls, kept bringing them to us and wanting them thrown.
She loves fuss and has already had a few visitors today who all love her apparently.

In the garden with her chew stick

Hopefully they will be happy with her.

My granddad is in his 80's now but as he is at home most of the day on his own it's nice for him to have a friend. He lives with my aunt and her son so they will be walking her during the week and my uncle (aunts brother) who isn't allowed a dog of his own will be taking her for long walks at weekends, so she will be loved and pampered by many
She wasn't acting her age at all today, she was loving her chew stick and her toys.
