Dogsey vibes needed please

Those of you will remember when I joined in October 2008 I was recently made redundant, as was my husband following our wedding in September. We were plunged into huge debt and lots of uncertainty and insecurity.

Neil managed to find a contract position and is now in another one that expires in May, with the possibility of applying for a permanent role.

In February 2009 I managed to bag my dream job working for an animal welfare charity. It's been nearly a year, things have been going great and I truly believe I have found the perfect job, in fact in a weeks time they are going to make my contract permanent.

However, we were told last year that the organisation is being re-structured and many jobs were facing redundancy. It's been a tough waiting game ever since and they have had to do it bit by bit, department by department and now it's my turn. My department is currently being reviewed and I will soon find out if my position is at risk of redundancy.

I'm actually feeling very anxious about the whole thing as it's been one big, long waiting game and the powerless feeling I have over the whole thing is incredible. Still, there is nothing to do but wait and try and be as positive about it all as I can.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't like some Dogsey vibes though, if you think you can spare some?

Thanks,

Pidge ;o)

Hundreds of vibes from Granny Nippy.
As you say it's the waiting game and the feeling of being so powerless that is the worst bit.
All the very best, think positive, all will be fine

Our fingers and paws are tightly crossed for you! My area is booming in a recession (crime ), but my OH is feeling a bit like you, waiting, and waiting for the axe to fall..... It's horrid I really feel for you.
