Pereg will be having a full blood work-up, including the full Thyroid [7] panel, done the week after next. It will be interesting to see if there has been any change from the tests carried out last September.

As her medication has been increased since then it is quite possible that her T4 level will have gone down a bit.

Interesting. Wow, that T4 is low compared to Cain! I don't know what lab it was, but I will check with my vet and let you know

Did you get your US results today? I saw the other person mention them on the other forum and thought of you

No nothing yet. They should have only received the blood yesterday so surprised if they've done it already.

US results back, thyroid levels normal. Looks like there's no medical reason for him being a pita

Bless him. Oh well, at least it's ruled it out and you can accept that he really was just put on this earth to test your sanity

True, but it cost about £600 to rule out fingers crossed the insurance pays out for the UK vet bit. Still had to pay excess, postage and US testing. Only just got paid and bank account is almost empty. After all the hassle you think he'd at least have the good grace to not be so healthy

Full UK results back. He's definitely not hypothyroid. Results were similar (after my poor vet spent ages converting the US units of measurement!)
