The story we got when we got her from her previous owners was they liked the look of dobes, but didn't have room for one. (they lived in an apartment in the city) So they thought they'd make their beagle a pint-sized dobe. (yes, I **** near smaked her! ) I'm just glad they didn't try to crop her ears, too! Poor baby...

She`s even more beautiful in person and a very sweet soul :smt049
I know what you mean about it being a nice change to see one of a good healthy weight, so many around are far too heavy
She competes in Agility too so brains as well as beauty in one gorgeous package

How old was she when they did that to her, eight weeks more or less ???
I`m assuming they did it themselves because no breeder or vet would do that, surely
I would have near smacked her too, but minus the word `near`...

Great photos, one breed I'm really keen to see is a GSP with a tail, I imagine it would have one similar to the Dobes, or maybe my English Pointer
