Bicarbonate Soda .... I have a ferret rescue and ferrets 'skunk' granted not as bad as actual skunks. Squeeze a lemon into a mixture of hot water of bicarbonate soda. Scrub scrub scrub

Oust is the best air freshener I have found to be useful.

Ahhh the lovely perfume of a skunked dog... brings back childhood memories of my Springer getting skunked

Tomato juice, I do believe was used in the attempt to de-skunk her, followed by a trip to the groomers for an emergency shave LOL. but she still smelled faintly of skunk on her shorthaired parts a month later

Have fun...

Pepe

to those that have never smelled Skunk, think strong, oily weed (marijuana) that never goes away... and even that smells better than skunk. If you hit one on the road, your car will smell for weeks, sometimes months, even after being washed (a dozen times)

Well, I have finally stopped laughing, (that was very ungracious of me, and I apologise ) and do feel very sorry for you because skunk is clearly far far worse than fox or badger, and those scents are hard enough to shift from dog or furniture.

The only thing I can think of is a professional steam clean of absolutely everything bar the dog. Or hire a machine and do it yourself. It probably still won't totally eradicate the pong, but it will make it much more bearable.

As for doggy, if tomato juice doesn't work then unfortunately it is down to time and quite a few baths.

however, i dont know much about skunks.
i have used all the cleaners i could, they do work well and i did have some success at things like the floor and walls ,but anything like linin and mateirial, the skunk spray is an oil, soaks in and is tuff to rid it,the stench was so bad i got sick, eyes watered, and my family had to take off to the ,,,beach!tossing items out was a very quick way to make my wife happy!!today? is better and the dog..bo,he is getting mouth wash wipe down, often and its working.5or 6 washing as well.hes loving it.he was sprayed and the skunk was dead in a 30 second trip outside at 430am,when he came through the door you could have swore the skunk just sprayed,it did..30 seconds,it was so fresh it took a second for the smell to kick it,that when i got sick..skunk!
