Throwing Kong!!

Evening All,
We bought Ben a Kong and used all the ideas for stuffing it.
But no matter what we put in it and pack it as tight as pos, he has learned that if he throws it up in the air and it drops on the floor then bits fall out!!
Does anyone elses dog do this!
I'm going to try freezing tomorrow!!!

Hehe - nope but Tonks shoves it around with her paws. Have never seen her chew one, but she did manage to get a tripe stick and liver cake out of one the other day when i wasn't there so she must have chewed it then.

I wedged a really big bit of tripe stick it to it with a bit sticking out of the end then i filled the gaps with liver cake and sealed the ends with cheese.

You could give that a go - it's really smelly and harder to get out i think because the tripe stick won't come out with paws or by being trown ....... i think!

Yep Finn does that too In fact he has found out that the higher he drops it from the more stuff comes out I usually freeze them so it takes a while to empty even when dropped from high up.

Have tried that And stuffing the ends with chesses triangles. It takes about 5 mins and the bloody thing is empty again.. . Oh well gues I have a very clever dog. He actually bounces it on the floor as if he knows the laws of gravity!!

Another thing is he seems to come to life in the evening. OH is watching the footie and poor Ben is waiting for his evening game of footie on the field!! Both of us are football widows

Missy ignores her kong. Loves to get food out of her havaball though. She throws that around the living room - but the shape of the opening means it doesn't come out too easily.
