What a dilemma

About 12-14 months ago I got my Kiera from a remote dog pound in Ireland. Now was just looking at the pound today and there is the double of Kiera only 12 months on.
I am so tempted after losing my oldie Bobbi 2 weeks ago but have Kiera 14 months, Paddy 5yrs and Kato 7 months.

Keira as a baby

You really need to make a list of the pros and cons. Once you've done that, you can throw it in the bin and follow your heart

How pretty can you get - how could you resist ?

However,to be sensible - can you afford another dog ? If so we have found that once you get past 2, they are easy to manage no matter how many -we are upto 7 now ! (Our financial limit !) All of them were bred by ourselves except me - I am the only bought one -which makes me special somehow !

We had 4 then lost Bobbi and said no more than 3 ever again that was 2 weeks ago LOL
My only dilemma is am so missing a springer and wanted to rescue an old girl. Part of me thinks bet she related to Keira so should rescue her but then part of me thinks everyone wants cute puppies but not old springers.
I dont know what to do hubby loves puppie which surprises me as he was one that said no more, but I fancy a old knackered springer.

It's an amazing resemblence! My guess is she's related to Keira too. I think what you said is right - a cute puppy is more likely to be adopted than an old springer. Why not wait and keep an eye on the pup - if she's in there any length of time then go ahead and rescue her, but if an old springer comes up in the meantime, then go for that option instead. Failing that, you'll have to get both!! lol
