Glad you didn't listen to your vet about the prognosis but I did have to chuckle when I read the part about him getting up and walking to the car. I bet the vet's face was a picture!!!

A scary thought but the vet might think twice about what he says in future. Your story did make me laugh though

Bran would like to accept this Oscar on behalf of all Little Dogs who do their utmost to keep der Mums on their toes. He would particularly like to thank all those people who have given him sossidge. And kebabs. Especially kebabs.
Bran will be appearing in a park near you very shortly.

A funny, yet scarey story. Perhaps the vets prognosis was all part of the therapy to get Bran moving again?
Imagine if you had listened to the vet and asked them to put him out of his suffering!!! (Actually, don't!)

What an adorable dog he is!

Ok from a neautral perspective.

Wouldnt it be in the best interests of the vet to keep him going all the money they could make. Its very unlike a vet to recommend such a thing. But then I guess we know our dogs best. We were in this situation recently and we let our girl go before she started to get uncomfortable and in pain. Its the hardest decision ever.
