Healthy Paws Food

Just wondering if anyone uses this? Anyone any opinions?
It seems Mya has allergies which are causing her to be very itchy and poos range from normal ish to very sloppy! I've spoken to the vet and he suggests either going back on the Wafcol which a 15kg sack was lasting my 2 just over 2 weeks - eek, or to try Healthy Paws. Freddie isn't an issue now though, he was doing just fine on the CSJ Champ so I'm considering having them both on separate foods for the time being and watching over them like hawks so Mya doesn't eat any of Freddie's!
If you use this how much do your dog/s weigh and how long does it last please? Just weighing up all the options before a trip to the pet shop later

I fed my two Healthy Paws for a while and the 15kg lasted me 20 days.

Did Mya's allergies disappear on Wafcol?

Thanks Carole.
She hardly scratched at all on the Wafcol. Poor thing has cut her neck from all the scratching. The lady in the pet shop sells 2kg sacks of the Healthy Paws too so I think I'll go and get a couple and try feeding that just to Mya and see how we go over the next couple of weeks. Just have to watch them at feeding time, they usually swap over half way though
You use Candiae don't you? Do you find that better than the Healthy Paws?

I was using Canidae but have since changed Finn onto fish and potato with a big difference. I think its the rice he does not tolerate well.

With Canidae the bag is 18kg and it lasted me almost a month feeding two adult boxers. It costs £39 and that includings shipping from Germany. Canidae has a higher meat content than Healthy Paws.

It does work out more expensive buying two foods but Finn feel less itchy now and hopefully not as many vet bills over the year for allergy related problems so it should balance itself out. Like you I wish I could feed them the same but it looks like its not going to be possible

I also use Healthy Paws (recommended by Corole)

Bandit suffers from IBD and I had to look for a meat source that he had not tried before....

I am pleased with the results, and the delivery service is prompt.

It comes within 48hrs.

Lisa at Healthy Paws is great! I was on the phone to her yesterday.
The puppy food is coming out soon.
I've started to sell quite a bit of the food and treats now, it's getting poplar!
